Felt tote!

These are really neat - designed by Josh Jakus they’re made in San Francisco from two layers of industrial factory excess wool felt that might otherwise go to waste. When unzipped they lay completely flat.

From his studio in Scotland Tom Butcher designs and hand-crafts his contemporary range of unique and beautiful ceramics and finishes them with an oatmeal glaze.

Mungo and Maud

Her ladyship (i.e. Bailey - our very spoilt mini schausie) is lovin Mungo and Maud's line of designer gear. They have a gorgeous store in London but if you can't get there they have an online shop too!

Handmade

These sweet cushions and bags are made by Yda Walt. She screeprints quirky images onto felt and then handstitches them onto her products.

Plastic fantastic!

Brisbane based designer Liana Kabel makes jewellery by cutting, melting and fusing pieces of old neglected Tupperware together to make earrings, neckpieces and bracelets.

Now that is cool - handmade and recycled!

Down under

To mark my sisters recent move to Perth - I thought I would try and find some cool new designers to feature from her new land!

I am lovin these - they are all by the talented Bridget Kennedy.

Beautiful colours.

Just found this very sweet coat/key/hat rack. Its handmade steel frame is bound with colourful insulated copper wire by Heath Nash. It is so beautiful does it need to be functional?
